Georgia is Currently Rated as One of the 8 Most Racist States in America

Georgia governor, Brian Kemp, has reportedly said, "Atlanta is too big to hate."

That's a great political line – from a white governor – but is that the truth? We've intentionally focused disproportionately on Atlanta in this discussion, and for good reason. Sixty percent (60%) of Atlanta's area consists of predominantly black neighborhoods. For specific areas – Northwest, Southwest, and Southeast – Atlanta is ninety-two percent (92%) black.

However, the whites have self-segregated ("white flight") and there are some areas of Atlanta that are predominantly white, most notably Buckhead and Northeast Atlanta, which are on average eighty percent (80%) white.

Adding to the veneer of "safe for blacks", Atlanta has a black mayor and a black police chief. But is Atlanta (and all of Georgia) really safe for blacks? According to the statistics, the answer is no. Taking the State of Georgia in its entirety, black people constitute 32% of state residents, but 51% of people held in local jails and 60% of people incarcerated in state prisons are black. That doesn't sound like equality to us.

Georgia Police and their "Justice System" are clearly biased against blacks in Georgia. The incarceration rates for black versus white Americans in Georgia are as follows:

• Blacks – 2,306 per 100,000 blacks are in jail or in the Criminal Justice System
• Whites  —  450 per 100,000 whites are in jail or in the Criminal Justice System

In our opinion, this sordid state of affairs will only change when Georgia has a progressive (Democratic) governor, and new restrictions placed on police in Georgia.

Exclusive "White-Only" Real Estate in Georgia

Has the nation's housing recovery left black people behind? History, and statistics, point towards continual housing segregation, especially in racist states like Georgia.

For many generations, black Americans have faced unique barriers to owning a home. In Atlanta, where predominantly black neighborhoods are still waiting for a better housing market and a stronger recovery, the direct link between race and real estate is obvious.

Consider South Dekalb County, Georgia. When the new subdivisions were rising everywhere in the 1990s and early 2000s, with hundreds and hundreds of fine homes on one-acre lots carved out of the Georgia forests, the price division between South Dekalb County and the northern part of the county weren't so vast.

Now, a house that looks otherwise identical in South Dekalb, on the edge of Atlanta, might sell for half what it would in North Dekalb. The difference has widened over the years of the housing boom, bust, and recovery.

The people in South Dekalb County make good money. They have good jobs. Their homes are built of the same sturdy brick. We can identify only one obvious difference that makes property in the south of the county worth so much less. The communities in South Dekalb are almost entirely black, and they reflect a housing disparity that emerges across the Atlanta metropolitan area and all of Georgia. According to a new Washington Post analysis, the higher a zip code's share of black residents in the Atlanta region, the worse its housing values have fared over the past turbulent housing cycle.

Predominantly black neighborhoods have been left out of the recovery across Atlanta. In the Atlanta region, the racial makeup of a zip code predicts how well home values have fared there. Values are down in almost all zip codes where the population is at least 40 percent black American. The difference is especially stark in Dekalb County.

In all of Georgia, home values in predominantly black American neighborhoods have been the least likely to recover, according to the analysis of home data from Black Knight Financial Services. In 4 out of 10 zip codes where blacks are the largest population group, homes are worth less in 2023 than they were in 2004. That's twice the rate of decline for mostly white zip codes across all of Georgia. Across metropolitan Atlanta, nearly 9 in 10 largely black zip codes still have home values with lower appraisals than 12 years ago.

In South Dekalb, the collapse has been even worse. In some zip codes, home values are still 25 percent or more below what they were previously. Families there, who've lost their wealth and had their life plans scrambled, see neighborhoods in the very same county – mostly white neighborhoods – thriving.

Georgia reflects the complex ways that housing and race have long been intertwined in America. Across the country, blacks are less likely to own homes – those who did were more likely during the housing bust to slip underwater – and as a result, a larger share of black wealth has been destroyed in the years since then.

These disparities, though, are not simply about income, about higher poverty levels among blacks, or lower-quality homes where they live, according to economists who have studied the region. The disparities exist in the best of places, like neighborhoods in South Dekalb County, where black families earn six-figure incomes.

Exclusive "White-Only" Sports or Athletic Clubs in Georgia

Racial discrimination in Georgia is not limited to real estate values, of course. The same trend can be found in our local sports. For example, now that golf courses have been fully integrated, the last white-only sport remaining in Georgia is cricket. Yes, you read that correctly – cricket – a very British sport, from which American baseball (and softball) were long ago developed.

Just do a Google search for:

• The Atlanta Cricket League
• The Georgia Cricket League
• The Buckhead Cricket Club, and etc.

Look at the team rosters. Look at the team photos. Ninety-five percent (95%) of all persons in every photo are white, with a smattering of persons from India and from Asia. But nary a black person. None, zero, zip, nada. Cricket seems to be the last remaining white-only sport in Georgia. Blacks excel at baseball, so why won't they let us join the cricket clubs? The answer is obvious – it's the last vestige of white-only sports and social clubs.

According to the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), there are 40 active hate groups in Georgia.

According to the report with data from 2017, the number of active Ku Klux Klan (KKK) groups is down from 130 in 2016 to 72 in 2017. However, the number of neo-Nazi groups increased 22 percent in the same time period.

The SPLC says the list was compiled using hate group publications and websites, citizen and law enforcement reports, field sources, and news reports. Hate group activities can include criminal acts, marches, rallies, speeches, meetings, leafleting, or publishing.

We use the internet (and Google searches) quite a bit to find incidents and examples of racism. That's how we found Michael Clements and Windward Engineers & Consultants (who are both right here in Atlanta, Georgia). It seems that almost everyone has an internet website – even racist cretins who brag about their racism on business and personal websites.

Our researchers use "directed searches". An example of how we find the bad guys is to use a word that Google has not banned, yet is often used as a racist-inspired word. First, we searched for any Georgia website that contained the word "Negro" by inserting +Negro +Georgia in the search field. We also searched using the Bing and DuckDuckGo search engines. You can try this yourself like so:

We noticed the usual academic-inspired websites, but we came across a few outliers, which just didn't look "normal" or "civil". One of the oddities involved Michael Clements and Windward Engineers. We then conducted a directed search for any Georgia website that contained both "Michael Clements" and also "Windward Engineers" by inserting +Clements +Windward in the search field. Again, we also searched using the Bing and DuckDuckGo search engines.

Like stewed cabbage unfolding in a boiling pot, a nether-world of racism unfolded, and we found some especially incriminating business and personal websites, which we feel must be shared:

This appears to be a Windward Engineers CDC-funded special program, for researching – and improving – black genetics. I like my genetics just fine the way they are, and I find this deeply troubling and especially dangerous.

Next, this is a personal website for the happy white guy who is President of Windward Engineers and Consultants. Racist, much?

Digging even deeper (using the "Way Back Machine" – https://web.archive.org/) we found a neo-white-fascist training program, which Michael Clements once promoted from Georgia State University's Robinson School of Business. Please especially take note of page 5 of the attached PDF file, where they used a too-stereotypical image of a white lady dressed all in lace, who is being held hostage by a "black kidnapper". Note the Michael Clements bio on page 9 of the PDF. You just can't make this stuff up. Going further down the rabbit hole, did Windward Engineers finally fire Michael Clements, perhaps under pressure from an angry public over the "negro eugenics" program run by Clements? Using the "Way Back Machine", older archives of the Windward website (https://www.windwardec.com/) show Clements as President of Windward. However, the current version of the Windward website does not list Clements in any capacity.

Lastly, are Windward Engineers & Consultants still guilty as sin? For example, are they guilty of falsely claiming "minority status", when in fact they have no black owners, managers, or supervisors? The issue seems to be that the Windward executives are "pretend Indians", claiming Native American as their "minority" in order to qualify for more Federal contracts.
